Human Focused Privacy Policy
We collect and manage the minimum personal information to engage with you on the terms you choose.
Browsing our website creates tracking information that tells us in aggregate how many people visit the website, how they got to us, and what they did. This tracking does not identify you to us. We use Google Analytics.
Requesting a download creates an identity at our mass email service. We use your name and language to personalize email. The mail service reports your opening and clicking on email. We use that to further personalize email and assess whether our audience is interested in topics and methods of communication. You can unsubscribe at any time. If you unsubscribe, the system will your identity and all transactional records.
Registering for an online course creates an identity in our Learning Management System and at our email service. We use your name and email to control access. The Learning Management System keeps track of every login, when and which modules and lessons you access. You can cancel at any time, and we'll manually delete your account from the learning management system. If you cancel, we delete your identity and all Learning Management System transactional records.
Our Learning Management System uses video hosted at Vimeo. They will track your IP address, when and which videos you access, as well as details about your computer and software.
E-commerce financial transactions are handled by Stripe or PayPal. We are not involved in your credit card or payment. They maintain a record of the transaction. We are required to maintain a record of your name, address, IP address and location, as well as the details of the financial transaction. We use geolocation to block transactions from geographies a Canadian company cannot do business. If a Canadian business cannot engage in financial transactions with you, we will cancel the e-commerce transaction and delete your identity from the Learning Management System.
Consulting projects create a relationship between us and our client. Our client may assign you to work with us. We may create an identity in our SharePoint site, Learning Management System, or any other information system we use to deliver the project. At the end of the project, we delete any information we do not require to maintain a business record of our deliverables. Our relationship is with our client, and they control who is assigned to work with us.
Our information systems are homed in Canada and the United States. Our email system and SharePoint environment are operated by global companies that will house identity data and transactional data where they operate.
Types of Data Collected
Contact Forms & Mass Email
Registration on our site is through Forms. Contact Forms will capture your email, first and last names. Our contact forms transfer your information to our account at MailChimp. We maintain the information necessary to communicate with you about the topics you express interest in, or register for. At any time you may unsubscribe.
If you unsubscribe from our training & professional development emails the system may not provide you access to the training.
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and are discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites

The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.
The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. Retention time
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.

- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
- Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. The Owner may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. The rights of Users
